This morning I went over the the British Museum about 9:30 AM.
My favorite book on the British Museum is the Day One Travel Guide to the museum and it has just gone through a major revision. I learned a couple of weeks ago that the authors of my favorite book were leading a tour and I was going to be in London the day of the tour! I e-mailed and asked to join!
I was delighted to get autographs from Brian Edwards on the left and Clive Anderson on the right! I had just purchased Clive's commentary on Nahum to use next year in the Bible Study at the Kennett Y and he was delighted to learn that!
Clive took our group around this morning while Brian took another group. Clive took us into the palace reliefs from Ninevah and showed us the burn marks on the walls. Nahum had prophesied that Ninevah would be destroyed by fire and here is the prophesy fulfilled in the British Museum!
When I returned to the room, a travel weary Bonnie had arrived safely! We will turn in early tonight!
