Today, I was able to go to Stratford upon Avon to spend some time with a very dear friend and John Newton scholar. The ride over went through some lovely villages.
It was so great to see Marylynn again! We spent the first few hours discussing my research and her work. She has done so much and I learned a great deal from her.
She has beautiful views from her Lodge window! Where I am staying, all I see are other houses. I confess, I do miss the farm.
After lunch, went across the road to see the River Avon...
...and the ducks!
